We have recentlty expanded and have opened a new purpose built MMA ‘Kryptiea gym’ and have the only Bas Rutten MMA system MMA & Fight team certified instructors outside the USA.

Kryptiea gym instructors are fully certified and hold Dan grades in various martial arts styles essential to MMA

We have 200m3 matted area, crash mats, strength & conditioning area with a mixture of free weights & kettlebells, spin cycles, rowing, vibro plate and punch bags including 14ft cage & 12ft boxing ring

Folks, how many people do you know who have gym memberships and have hardly used the gym? Many join but need some motivation when they go if they do not get it they will go just to say ‘ they have been to the gym’ but never done anything really positive! Kid’s MMA (mixed martial arts)

Krypteia training facility will offer a kid’s mma class, are you being bullied at school ? bullying is not just physical, but wearing glasses, wearing the wrong shoes or clothes or the color of your skin, Ju Jitsu can help

We will start children from as little as 5 years old up until they are able to join in with the regular classes usually around 15-16 years old. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, honesty and discipline.  In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions.  All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group.

The ancient art of Muay Thai, this will develop the students striking ability utilizing punches, kicks, elbows, knees and clinch fighting..

No Gi Grappling

Another fundamental for any mma fighter, no gi grappling is the grappling that is performed in mma there is no gi worn so the action is explosive. The art comes from a mixture of styles but more famously from Brazilian jiu jitsu. In this class the student will learn how to hold their opponents in all the common positions and also to escape these positions. Once the student develops a strong position based grappling game striking from these positions (ground and pound) and submissions will be will be developed. This is a close contact aspect of the sport and requires respect to your instructor/team matess

 

No Gi Grappling

The classic art of boxing this art will develop the students feet movement, hand speed and power. This will also (like Muay Thai) teach the student a good guard and how to deliver the strikes correctly and effectively.

This class will be exactly what it says on the tin, a grappling class with a gi on. A gi is the traditional wear of martial arts along with a belt. This class will feature a range of techniques from different style like judo, ju-jitsu, sambo wrestling and Brazilian jiu jitsu. This is an area the student can really focus and compete in.

It is often said that mixed martial arts fighter’s are the best conditioned athletes by what they put themselves through in the fight. For anyone who has grappled will know how exhausting it is. To put it in perspective boxers are considered to be the fittest athlete however they fight 3 minute rounds MMA fighters have 5 minute rounds. Even though this class is MMA orientated conditioning, explosive power, strength, speed and agility, this class really is for all whatever your goals. If you are a football player looking to be extremely explosive and develop muscular endurance. Or a female/male looking to get in great physical shape this really is for everyone.

 just for females. some of the members have used this class to prepare for a wedding, (drop a dress size or two) charity walk, and even to compete.

Half of the class will include combat fitness and condition doing pad work, kicks, punches, knees and sprawls. This will give you a good all round workout teach you how to strike correctly and effectively. The other half of the class will be real-life self defense this will build up confidence that you can handle yourself in any given situation.
